Mew is (c)Pokemon/Nintendo.

This design was inspired by the old rumors of Cronomew, supposedly a robotic Mew clone.

Yup. However, before the first movie was released outside Japan, a lot of fans speculated that screencaps of Mewtwo in armor was Mewthree.

I actually remember kids at my school referring to it as Mew7. I have no idea why they had skipped 3-6.
