I haven't been able to draw for over a month, but while doing my homework yesterday, it was like I could literally see images flying into my head. I didn't think much about it at the time, but while thinking today, I thought that it MIGHT have been my artistic ability returning. To test my theory, I started drawing with no particular idea in mind.

I sketched several things, but since I couldn't see them going anywhere, I erased them. Over time I decided to redesign one of my previous original characters (Nekoban Ryo; original concept can be found in my gallery), which I had actually been wanting to do for a while.

This image is obviously not complete, but I would like some feedback. For example, tell me if you like the new design, if it is lacking something, or if it just sucks compared to the old one.

NOTE: The main reason I'm doing this is because Nekoban Ryo is my Charanari (with Maneki, one of my Shugo Charas) and "Anime Me" happens to have a bit of facial hair. In addition to that, in all honestly, I'm getting tired of the old design.

If any of you would like to do fanart of this character, that would be perfectly fine (and I would love you forever). However, I still want credit for my design

I liked the old design, but something about the face didn't settle with me. Could it have been the eyes?
