Now that this character actually has some decent-looking art, I might start working on a backstory.
Oh, and his name is Hiro, so named by ~Caitlin-Massacre

I'll try to do a shaded version of this pic, eventually.

I have to have a calendar that features my artwork designed by the end of April. None of the work is allowed to be fan art and the drawings have to be high resolution or vector. The idea I have in mind is to create 6 anime-style Japanese school kids - 3 boys and 3 girls. I already have ideas and names for them, but I just haven't been able to draw them yet (I've had plenty of time, but I've been unable to draw).

Janice, the first character, has long red hair, purple eyes, and a spunky personality. Mark, the second character, has an undecided hair length and color, pale blue eyes, and an undecided personality. Mae has shoulder-length brown hair (with green bow hairpin), green eyes, and a shy personality. Julius has medium-length black hair, red eyes, and a dark personality. Septima has long blonde hair, dark blue eyes (maybe with glasses), and a kind personality. Cemba has neck-length siler/white hair, light blue eyes with glasses, and a quiet but cool personality.

Yeah, I can see that. I had to look it up because I had never watched it. Seeing this, I'm glad I didn't colorize his hair completely red like I had considered doing. XD
